Program
Keeping our eyes and ears open is as important as keeping doors and windows shut. Right?? The last decade each of us in Mumbai who proudly call us the 'resilient Mumbaikar' have witnessed over 20 blasts in Mumbai besides many man made and natural disasters like terror attacks, floods, fire, building collapse etc. For a moment, what each one of us would like to believe is that this will not happen to me!!
It is not just what happens outside homes, many of us may have been fortunate than others, but crime happens in residential societies, sometimes in homes. Sometime it may even happen to us.
Our eyes and ears have the ability to disable bullets and bombs. Our vigilant action can ensure we contain, if not control crime.

A year long initiative going door to door, society to society, making every Mumbaikar aware of his surroundings and the different facets of living a secure life in Mumbai. The initiative introduces Mumbaikars to the ever changing tapestry of modern urban living.
An initiative of this kind and magnitude that has never been attempted in the history of independent India. This will be amongst one of India's first and largest awareness and participation program involving the citizens.
Jagrut Mumbaikar commences as a joint initiative of Mumbai Police and Eureka Forbes, supported by Mumbai Fire Brigade.

A program of 1 hour 30 minutes shall be conducted over weekends, for a period of 12 months, covering large residential societies of over 100 flats, and also groups of smaller societies across the city.
